Since the Belt and Road (B&R) initiative inception, on the strength of its global influence, CKGSB has successfully held a series of Globalization & B&R-themed forums across the world, including Sydney, New York, Vancouver, London, Seoul, Urumqi, Guangzhou and others. Meanwhile, the school has also actively participated in international conferences to disseminate China’s voices and strengthen people-to-people bonds.
Striving to cultivate next-generation business leaders with a global vision, a humanistic spirit, a strong sense of social responsibility and an innovative mindset, CKGSB has offered optional courses on the Belt and Road Initiative and sponsored business management practice workshops focusing on B&R topics by taking advantage of its world-class faculty’s cutting-edge research on global business issues and China-specific topics as well as its alumni’s rich business experience in countries and regions along the land and maritime Silk Road. Such knowledge will help Chinese entrepreneurs avoid detours and thus contribute to the “Belt and Road” undertakings.
To better align with the Belt and Road Initiative and to seek out global B&R practitioners, CKGSB launched the Belt and Road Scholarship in 2018, encouraging more talented young people committed to B&R undertakings and business elites in B&R countries to receive the world-leading business education and contribute in the future to the common development of B&R countries with advanced management concepts.
CKGSB aims to promote with world-wide talents the building of “Silk Road of Innovation”, facilitate exchanges and cooperation among business talents in B&R countries, and advance further prosperity and sustainable growth of global economy.
