Business education to be more philanthropic
Question: What is the key word to globalization?

Scott Koerwer, associate dean of Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, said it was education.
"Education is key to international cooperation and understanding in globalization and that's why we need to be here (China)," Koerwer said.
His big fantasy is to build an international education hub in China which has programs from undergraduate to executive MBA and takes in not only Chinese national students but expatriate students all over the world.
But of course his present focus is on business education. His vision of successful buisness education feature three letters - GET, G for globalization, E for entrepreneurship and T for technology.
Participants and customers of this education from different geographic areas are connected by technology and the same entrepreneurial spirit. Other than profits, they also worry about things such as the environment and clean water.
In Koerwer's words, business education cannot be balanced by business models only; it also needs a "human model," a model that will make society a better place.
