In discussing the topic of "Is education the most effective way to change and enhance your competitiveness?" "How can it be," the thematic lecture on "Career Planning and Education preparation in Financial Crisis" was held in Garden Books, No.325 Chang Le Road on the evening of June 18. Ying Zhao, Managing Editor in WhichMBA.net, Ms. Kang Ping, former HRD Asia Pacific of Sensata Technology, current Executive Coach in Executive Learning Center and Ms. Charmaine Soh from Atomic Recruitment had heated their personal horizons on this topic. 

During the lecture, the three experts expressed their opinions on the issues of How to choose a right MBA to survive in the financial crisis, Career planning and personal positioning strategy, and How to prepare for your next jump. Ms. Zhao explained and disabused general misunderstandings such as "What does the MBA brand mean?" "What does the MBA network mean?" "Are you still puzzled on choosing which business school?" Those personal concerns by members at present also have been considered as examples which help clearing up confusion and the question how to make career progress and education preparation in the economic downturn. Moreover, she stressed the necessity of choosing the fittest MBA programs in refreshing the knowledge and skill sets. And other two experts gave their own advice on the requirement on talent from the perspective of a company's HR and the relationship between MBA and leadership development, analyzing how to make personal MBA programs more effective. The lecture lasted about three hours in the atmosphere of friendly open discussion. 

Epically, participants discussed the current affair that a number of visiting qualified masters of MBA stranded in Chinese market. Some endured longer vacancy to be employed ideally after they finished MBA programs. Although some good opportunities still were introduced by the best Chinese school of MBA in this crisis, it is believed that most companies in mainland are welcoming well qualified oversea masters with a better Chinese language capacity.
