INTRODUCTION
The Washington University-Fudan University Executive MBA program is a partnership between the Olin Business School, Washington University in St. Louis and School of Management, Fudan University. Taught mainly in English, the program closely matches the content and structure of Olin Business School’s Executive MBA program. While faculty members from Olin Business School teach the majority of the courses, faculty member from the school of Management of Fudan University also support some of the courses to instill local perspectives and provide the latest insights into China’s rapidly developing economy. The program’s goal is to help their student become a superior global manager - a more competent leader and confident decision maker, problem solver, and risk taker. Leadership development and innovation are embedded into EMBA course content, residencies, and class projects. The 18-month program focuses on learning, not logistic. Students attend courses once per month, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday through Monday at Fudan University’s School of Management in Shanghai. The program ends with a one-week residency at Brookings Institution in Washington D.C. and a series of company visits in New York City, and another week of capstone residency at the Charles F. Knight Executive Education & Conference Center at Washington University in St. Louis. Students graduate from the program with an AACSB accredited Executive MBA degree from Washington University in St.Louis, and a Management Education Certificate from Fudan University.
Washington University - Fudan University Executive MBA Program is the earliest sino-foreign EMBA program in China. It has pure American faculty, pure American way of MBA teaching, providing the opportunity to 'study abroad without go abroad'. In recent years they have added humanity courses of Fudan University that enables alumni to study in Fudan Chinese EMBA class with the Chinese elements.

Washington University-Fudan University EMBA program is the 1st joint venture EMBA program in China. It provides the opportunity to “study abroad without going abroad”. The Financial Times has consistently ranked its faculty as the best in mainland China for over 10 years. Since 2006, the publication has ranked the program one of the best in Mainland China. In 2015, it is rated #6 best worldwide, making it the top 10 for 4 consecutive years.
