INTRODUCTION
Jointly offer by the University of Southern California and the University of Hong Kong, Master of Global Public Policy (MGPP) is a 15-month executive master programme , with 5 one-week residencies and online teaching component. The programme will focus strongly on Greater China and the Asia-Pacific Region and have a great emphasis on comparative public policy and transboundary public policy issues with 5 thematic areas: (1) Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability; (2) Social Justice; (3) Global Development; (4) Growth and Fiscal Stability and (5) Urbanization. Students will develop skills in cross-cultural and intersectoral collaboration and be provided with cutting-edge methodological and theory training for solving public policy solutions
The first public policy master course for executives who work for multinationals, NGOs, new internet startuups and media, which tackles the challenges now businesses face in an uncertain political and economic environment. With similar curriculum settings as EMBA, Global Master of Public Policy is a good choice for top executives who are responsible for government and public relations.
